We can clean most types of carpets and rugs, including wool and synthetic blends. If you're unsure, we offer a free assessment before any cleaning.


❓ How long does it take for carpets to dry?

Drying times vary depending on the carpet type, room temperature, and airflow. Generally:

  • Carpets: We offer a drying service that means you will have your carpets back before we leave
  • None Drying option: around 8 hours
     

❓ Do I need to move my furniture before cleaning?

Light furniture (like chairs or small tables) can be moved by us before cleaning. We kindly ask you to move any fragile or heavy items in advance if possible. Let us know if you need help — we’re happy to assist!


❓ Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?

Yes! We use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for children, pets, and allergy sufferers. Your family’s health is a top priority for us.


❓ Can you remove all stains?

While we have excellent success removing a wide range of stains (including pet accidents, wine, coffee, and ink), some stains may be permanent depending on how long they’ve been there and the type of carpet. We’ll always give honest advice and do our best!


❓ How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

We recommend professional cleaning every 8–12 months, depending on foot traffic, pets, and allergies. Regular cleaning helps extend the life of your carpets and keeps your home healthier.


❓ Do you offer end-of-tenancy carpet cleaning?

Absolutely! We work with both tenants and landlords to provide thorough end-of-tenancy carpet  cleaning that meets letting agent and landlord requirements.


❓ Do you offer quotes or site visits?

Yes — we offer free, no-obligation quotes, and in some cases, we can arrange a quick visit to assess your needs before confirming a price.

Yes, Elite Carpet Care is fully insured for your peace of mind. We treat every home or business as if it were our own.


❓ Can I book a cleaning on weekends or evenings?

We do offer flexible appointments, including some evenings and weekends. Get in touch to discuss what time works best for you.


 

❓ How much does carpet cleaning cost?

Prices vary depending on the size of the area, type of carpet, condition, what chemicals will be needed for the job, amount of time it will take, whether you want the carpets dried, amount of furniture that needs moving and accessibility to your house.
We’ll always provide a clear, upfront quote — no hidden charges!

Yes, we do have a minimum call-out charge, which helps cover travel and equipment setup. This will be clearly explained in your quote.

❓ Do you clean commercial carpets too?

Yes! We work with offices, shops, hotels, and landlords across Thanet. Flexible hours, fast drying, and professional results — ideal for businesses that can’t afford downtime.


❓ Can you clean rugs at my home or off-site?

All rugs can be cleaned on-site, we’ll advise what’s best during your quote.


❓ Will the cleaning remove odours as well?

Yes! Our cleaning process removes deep-down dirt and odours. We also offer specialist odour treatments for pet urine, smoke, and more.


❓ What if I’m not happy with the results?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not happy with the result, please let us know — we’ll do our best to put it right, every time.


❓ How soon can I walk on the carpets after cleaning?

You can usually walk on carpets immediately with clean, indoor shoes or socks, but we recommend waiting a few hours for them to fully dry and breathe before placing furniture or rugs back.
